I believe people come into our lives for a reason. Some stay for the long haul and others for only a brief moment. It matters not the time they spend with us but how they impact our lives during that specific time. I am sure each of you can resonate with this, if you really sat down and thought about it. I have had many who have impacted my life over the years and I think of them often, how they touched my life in one way or another and where I might be if I had never met them.
Some experiences you can understand how they affected your life and others', well they are a bit more complex and less visible but, there was a reason, we just may not be able to pinpoint why. That leads me to the latest person who will come into my life and impact it in some way or another, Dr. Kaitlyn C. Bevers. Dr. Bevers will be performing my lung surgery. I will be meeting with her for the first time next week. I try to research just about everything before making a purchase, small or big, so I think it is only fitting to do the same if someone is performing surgery on you, especially since you will be out of commission and not be able to openly express your agreement or disagreements during the actual event. Plus, there is a no return policy!
